Plant design and optimization.

During the secondment a model of the CLC combustor with biofuels will be integrated with the NOVA LT16 gas turbine in BHGE (during the secondment). Technical analysis will be performed using BHGE proprietary models, to optimize turbine working conditions using hot air instead of exhaust combustion gases. The guidelines for the design of GTCLC combustors (D5.1) and exploitation plan (D5.2) on how develop a patent on this combustor will be developed together with the industrial partners. Particular attention will be given to heat integration, combustor efficiency and entire plant electrical efficiency, plant total investment costs. Also CO2 concentration in the exhaust will be optimized.
